Meet the team
Shaun Hunter
Shaun Hunter is the founder and director of Event 7 and an event and technical producer with over 20 years experience in the global events industry.
He's the Technical Production Manager for the critically acclaimed Envision Festival, Costa Rica, since the event’s inception 10 years ago.
At Glastonbury Festival, he is the Technical Manager for the much celebrated warren of iniquity that is the Rabbit Hole, and at Boomtown Festival he heads up the technical team at The Psychedelic Forest.
Starting out as a musician, Shaun quickly realised he got more out of live sound production. Having cut his teeth as Technical Manager in venues across London and touring with bands, Shaun graduated to event production.
Shaun worked closely for 8 years technically producing events for a street-art superstar - whose identity remains secret - but whose work currently sells internationally for up to 7 figures.
Shaun has an impressive folio of projects from installations for a slew of contemporary artists to fashion shows, corporate events and weddings under his belt.
In 2001, his work for Prime Minister Tony Blair led to his invitation to 10 Downing Street, where Shaun took the opportunity to plaster the toilets with Greenpeace 'Boycott E$$O' stickers.
There's little Shaun hasn't technically advised and worked on, from product launches, hotel openings, pop-up concepts to 3D projection mapping on buildings.
On the rare occasions when he is not producing events, Shaun can be found hanging on the beach with his partner, twin sons and daughter in Brighton and Hove.
